IC-F44GT provides the built-in flexibility to
handle your communication needs. Offering advanced
features including a wide frequency range, multiple
signalling and loud audio, the IC-F44GT is a rugged
and reliable 2-way communications tool.
At just 300g, the IC-F44GT is lightweight and
easy to carry. The aluminium die-cast chassis
and polycarbonate casing combination meets tough
US Military MIL standards for shock and vibration.
A rugged dual-rail guide securely locks the battery
to the back of the radio. These factors combine
to provide high reliability, even in the toughest
environments.
The IC-F44GT has a built-in inversion type voice
scrambler as standard. By installing an optional
voice scrambler unit, UT-109 or UT-110, even more
secure communication can be possible. And the
built-in audio compander reduces noise interference
and provides clear reception, even in narrow band
use.

| WHY USE IT? |
- Wide Frequency Coverage
The IC-F44GT covers a wide frequency range (400-470MHz).
The series also has wide, middle and narrow
channel spacing (25, 20, 12.5kHz) selectable
per channel (note you cannot program 25 and
20 kHz at the same time.) The 256 memory channel
capacity with 16 memory banks allows you to
divide and store a variety of flexible channel
groupings. Easy memory channel selection is
possible with a simple rotation of the rotary
channel knob.
- Built-In Multi-Format Tone Signalling
Use the built-in CTCSS, DTCS, 2-Tone, 5-Tone
or BUS capability to set up your own talk groups
and quiet stand-by when others are talking.
You can also set up selective calls to individuals
or control a repeater.
- Programmable Functions
Up to 8 programmable buttons, [P0], [P3], [A],
[V], [Monitor] and [Red] can be assigned with
additional functions to meet a variety of requirements.
The [Red] button can also be assigned as an
emergency trigger if desired.
- Alphanumeric Display
The 8-character alphanumeric display shows channel,
bank, tone code and scanning list name on the
display. A separate row of operational icons
indicate battery, signal strength, RX/TX and
other radio conditions
