This
year Commercial Wireless celebrated the August
Bank Holiday weekend by inviting our customers
to a special screening of' 'Charlie and the Chocolate
Factory'.
On
Sunday morning, as the rain was slowly fading,
over 350 guests arrived at the Stillorgan Ormonde
Cinema. There were gasps of excitement and awe
as Willy Wonka himself made an appearance. He
delighted children by posing for photos, while
his helpers were on hand to supply everyone
with goodie bags.
As
everyone took their seats the excitement built.
As a special Wonka treat there were two golden
tickets hidden in the special Willy Wonka bars
that were being distributed. Each golden ticket
would entitle that child to a years supply of
chocolate! As everyone settled Willy Wonka
took centre stage and instructed everyone to
open their bars. After much anticipation, an
excited Emily Parkinson stood up and declared
herself our first winner. This was followed
by Caroline Drummond, who also won a years supply
of chocolate, much to the delight of her older
brother. Caroline kindly donated a bulk of her
chocolate to a local charity.
As
the film started, child and adult alike was
drawn into the fabulous world of Charlie and
his adventure. Willy Wonka himself even stayed
to watch his life story unravel on the big screen
in front of him.
Commercial
Wireless hopes that all their guests enjoyed
the day, and we look forward to seeing you again
in the near future.
